Home Medicine Delivery Service – COVID-19

The Government and Call&Check have been planning services to support ‘at risk’ members of our community during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The first service to become operational is the “Home delivery of Medicines” service.

Call&Check have worked closely with a group of organisations which includes Community and Hospital Pharmacies, General Practice, Jersey Post and Yellow Cabs, to create and implement a coordinated islandwide service of medicine deliveries to people’s homes. Since the service started three weeks ago over eight thousand packages of medicine have been delivered directly to people in their homes.
We would like to thank all of our partners in delivering this successful service and particularly mention the pharmacists, the postal workers and taxi drivers for their extraordinary efforts in the face of such a difficult time.
